My Boys

Anyone who knows Ike would say that he's a daddy's boy. And it's true! But what most people don't realize is that it goes both ways. My hubby is crazy about his little buddy. See how cute they are together? This is Isaac's normal smile, and daddy is matching it perfectly! They are a match made in heaven. When Isaac was born, I couldn't take care of him (major post-partum issues). Hubby stepped in and saved baby Ike, our marriage, our family, and my life (I might be over dramatizing it a little--but he is my hero for a reason!). I always felt guilty for not getting that baby bonding time. Then the guilt turned into jealousy when Ike obviously preferred daddy to me. But that jealousy dissolves when I look at pictures like this. How could I feel anything but exceeding joy? (Hubby laughs at me whenever I use Book of Mormon phrases in my everyday language)
