Thanksgiving was double delicious this year. We celebrated with my family on Turkey Day, then with Don's family again on Saturday!!! My assignment this year was pecan pie. Got the pecans from Uncle Jeff, and used Grandma Darley's recipe. In spite of all the tears and troubles I had while baking, pecan pie is now my most favorite-est pie ever! I never thought anything would beat out pumpkin pie. . .
How sweet is this? Quite by accident, Miley and grandma wore matching outfits, and Ike and grandpa were twinners too! But honestly, the odds of grandpa Jack matching Ike's only plaid shirt were pretty good seeing as how Grandpa Jack's closet is full of flannel! ;) I loved it.
